The Feast of the Holy Rosary

The Feast of the Dormition (also known as the Feast of the Descent) is one of the typical spring festivals of the Tai Nguyen highlands, held annually when the skyland enters the new planting season. This is a traditional agricultural ritual that embodies the identity of the T'ai, N'ga people, wishing for calm rain, a harsh harvest, a warm, happy life.

Through generations of preservation, the Feast of the Rosary has become a distinctive cultural lifestyle, an opportunity for communities of peoples to meet, exchange, strengthen unity and together honour good traditional values. 

Featuring many distinctive traditional ceremonies and a rich array of cultural, sporting and folk-games, the 2026 Phong Nha Trang Carnival promises to provide visitors with memorable experiences in a cultural space that is rich in ethnic identity amid fresh spring colors.
