A performance of the pay rise

To celebrate Vietnam's Cultural Day on 24 November, the classic salary reform of the South Vietnamese Ministry of Culture will be performed by performing artists serving the People at the Canton Cultural and Art Center Performing Arts Center.

"The Hanging River" by author Deung Hyun is a typical work of the Vietnamese wage reform theatre, born about half a century ago and has endured through generations of audiences. The work is captivating by its dramatic storyline, its poetic lyrics, and its realistic value and profound human spirit.

Set in rural South Africa during the French colonial era, the play reflects the radical lives of the people against oppression, exploitation by landowners and wrong-handed machines. The family of Ms. Chu along with farmers such as Thừa, Chơn, Lài opposed the Dư Council and those who relied on power to rape the poor. The repressive injustices resulted in the resistance and struggle of the peasants for the right to live, land and freedom. Chong's journey from exile to his homeland contributed to a dramatic cycle rich in conflict and emotion.

The highlight of the work is the combination of realism, revolutionary spirit and the richness of the wage. In the midst of poverty, oppression, peaceful dreams of shelter, full life, love and family happiness, the dignity and vigor of the worker are still present.

The success of the play also lies in the art of character building, South Korean-language theater and the use of pay-per-view tunes. The lyrics, songs, and lyrics contribute to the expression of man's reluctance, affection, and resistance.

For nearly half a century, the Song of the River Pious has been staged by artistic entities interested in it, passed down through generations of artists. The work contributes to affirming the position of the social theme - revolution in the wage improvement scene, while preserving the voice, significance and cultural identity of the South.
